The original Lio (B4) needed fraying — gently pulling the fibers apart at the tip — to release the aroma. It worked, but it was the single most missed step and the reason behind almost every "I taste nothing" message we used to get.

We rebuilt the system. Lio Plus uses a redesigned core that releases the aroma the moment you insert it — no fraying, no oily fingers, no slipping. Drop it in, breathe.

If you have an original Lio (B4): fray about 5–7mm of the end before inserting. If you've frayed properly and still aren't getting flavor, email us — that's a faulty batch and we'll replace it free.

Lio Plus: not a problem anymore. Original (B4): fray it.

With Lio Plus: The redesigned core fits snugly into the new diffuser — drop it in and it stays put.

With original Lio (B4): Fray the end before inserting. The frayed fibers create the grip that holds the core in place. If you've frayed properly and it still won't stay, that's a fit issue — email support@breathelio.com and we'll send replacements or upgrade you to Plus.
